Everyone ?

Do we need to know what “everyone” knows?  Do we all have to be like “everyone”? …Do we really want that? …or we just don’t know what we want and how it all should be… so it’s easier to be like someone else or to do what others are doing…?

 I have “smart everyone” stories…

There was about ten of us in the company, and all of them suddenly started talking about a new “WXP7” cell phone. Some of them were talking, and the rest were just nodding … And when I asked: “What’s that?”  There was silence. Astonishment. Big eyes… They all looked at me like I had something on my face. They asked me: “What? You don’t know? Everyone knows that”  I mean… Why do they think they’re everyone?

Also… when I hear a song on the radio I like, I sing. If I don’t know all the words of that song, I invent some of my words, and sometimes you can hear me also singing; “la la la…”  Usually, I don’t even know the name of the song I sing, or the name of the performer. I’m sorry. But, so what? I sing because I like the song, not because I want to show you how I know all the words. I remember my two friends… they were always competing who would first hit the exact name of the song and the name of the artist/performer… Like they were on a quiz or something. They often asked me; “You don’t know? But how? Everyone knows that…” Blah… They would look at me when I was singing and they would laugh at me if I made a mistake. But… I never saw them singing or dancing. They were only “blah…” They know all the words and names as if they were studying at the “song names and performers college”:), or something…  And they are not even DJ’s.

All people have some things they don’t know. Not because they’re stupid, just because they don’t care about something, so much. Why would everyone be interested in everything anyways? Is that even possible? And why all of those who “know everything” think that’s everything?

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid” -said Einstein, so remember this one if you ever feel like you are not a “super knowing one” like “everyone” is…  Or, when you feel like Joey from “Friends” when he wanted to buy an encyclopedia;)

 And “copies of everyone” stories…

A; “…Why did you dress like that? No-one there will be dressed like that.” B; “And who’s no-one, so I can call him to be dressed like me?”

A: “I can’t cook lunch every day… I have a lot of work…” B: “Really? And how everyone else can?” A: “I don’t know. I don’t even know who they are. Do you?”

So, who is the everyone? And who is the no-one? What do they do? How do we know that they do that? And so what if they do that?

We are all the same, but completely different. There is no such thing as “everyone”, so stop trying to be like everyone …like a copy or something. Let everyone to be everyone, and you…be you. Think about it.
